Registrations and eligibility
Most bids are lost on the administrative envelope rather than on technical quality. Ours is kept current as a standing task, and the notes below are what we would tell any firm setting theirs up.

A notice gives you days; correcting categories or adding a submitting user can take longer than that. |
| Tax compliance certificate, KRA | Required current at every bid submission | It expires, and an expired certificate at submission cannot be cured after the deadline. Diarise renewal two months ahead, and clear outstanding returns and balances before you apply rather than on the day a bid is due. |

Data protection
We process personal data, including farmer data, under the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019. Consent is recorded for the specific use. Our privacy notice sets out the detail.
Safeguarding and ethics
One written standard binds staff, associates and subcontractors alike, covering safeguarding, anti-fraud and bribery and speaking up. It adopts the multilateral financiers’ own definitions of the five prohibited practices, and concerns reach the board rather than the executive.
Environmental and social
On donor financed work we apply the client’s framework, whether that is the World Bank ESF, IFAD SECAP or the AfDB Operational Safeguards, and our own baseline everywhere else, whichever is stricter. Every assignment is screened before mobilisation, and people affected by our work have a route to complain that does not run through the field team.

Access to a farmer network that will talk to us, and a documented practice of collecting farm level financial data with consent.
Offtake credibility
Where a design needs a private partner who will commit to buy, we can be that partner. Very few advisory firms can put that in a bid.
We work in European Union, World Bank and multilateral bid formats, we keep curricula vitae in both European Union and World Bank templates, and we can turn around a teaming agreement and a capability annex inside a working week.
